‚Heterotopia in the Lavatory‚ is a photo-performance project started by Irene Fernández Ramos in 2014. The project aims at exploring different understanding of spaces by reproducing classical portraits in air plane lavatories. The comical result of the repetition/reproduction of these works of arts challenges notions of beauty and representation in art.
At the same time, the artist wants to question the illusion of hypermobility in our post-post-postmodern world by using planes‘ toilets as spaces for liberation and expression.

Rigoletti ist für dieses Amt hervorragend geeignet. Repräsentative Aufgaben bewältigte sie schon als Kind. Politikertochter!
Die Filmemacherin (und Initiatorin von Rückbau21 – Rückbau Berliner Schloss Humboldtforum) beweist in Wort und Bild, dass sie prädestiniert ist für das Amt der Bundespräsidentin (bundesprädestiniert!).
